I’m a trainee driving instructor offering manual driving lessons in Nottingham with a lifelong connection to both teaching and cars. My mum has been a teacher for many years, and my dad worked with cars, so from an early age I was surrounded by both education and motoring. I had the chance to sit in all sorts of vehicles growing up, and I couldn’t wait for the day I’d be behind the wheel myself.
When I finally started driving, it gave me a sense of independence and freedom like nothing else before. That feeling is something I carry with me every day, and it’s what inspires me to help others achieve the same confidence.
I also know first-hand how daunting driving can feel in a new country. When I moved to England, I was nervous about switching to the other side of the road. But once I built up my confidence, everything clicked - and I’d be more than happy to support anyone facing the same challenge.
After weeks of researching which franchise to join, I chose to train with LDC (Learner Driving Centre) because of how effective their system is in helping learners succeed. From day one, I’ve received such a warm welcome from my colleagues in the area, and I’m proud to be part of a team that values both professionalism and learner progress.
For me, teaching isn’t just about preparing learners to pass their test. It’s about building safe, capable, and confident drivers who can enjoy the road ahead.
